Adnan Jaffar started his career as a broadcast journalist and currently playing the role of Dr Feroz in a hit Drama Serial Ruswai.
He revealed that the team of Homeland T.V series was looking for a south Asian face with Good English speaking abilities. Adnan says he has some of his movies on Netflix too, So the team chose him to appear as Pakistani general in the final season of the award-winning series.
Jaffar also uploaded an Instagram status, he said
“I was approached through a casting person who sent me an audition script, which I promptly recorded and sent back. They took a few weeks and luckily, the production team cast me in character. To be honest, I was expecting it, being a ‘nobody’ on the international scene. So many people audition without success, plus it was such a high profile series. Any Indian actor could easily have done it, but I guess me (a Pakistani actor) being in it brought more authenticity,”
It is an outstanding initiative for a career on an International level for any Pakistani artist. KhabeesAffairs wish him best of luck for his career in Hollywood.
