More Business Is Coming – PM Allows Chinese Firms To Establish Offices In Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked Chinese entrepreneurs and firms to establish their regional offices in Pakistan in a bid to improve cooperation between Pakistan and China in all fields. He said strengthening business to business ties among the people of Pakistan and China is a foremost priority of the government.

He was addressing a delegation of Chinese investors on Monday along with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing who called on him in Islamabad, according to Radio Pakistan.

PM Imran welcomed the representatives of leading Chinese companies. He said Pakistan accords great importance to extending its relations with China.

The premier also them that his government would accord the highest priority to facilitate the Chinese investors. Besides, PM also said that Pakistan and China have a shared destiny.

Moreover, the prime minister asked the Chinese businesses and firms to establish their regional offices in Pakistan.

The Chinese investors also thanked PM Imran, who has been named ‘Muslim Man Of The Year’, for his personal interest in helping Chinese investors in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the participants expressed satisfaction over the business-friendly policies of Pakistan.

The Chinese ambassador said reforms introduced at the policy and implementation level have improved confidence in the Chinese business community. He said Pakistan was being looked at as a major partner in development in the post-COVID-19 environment.

Meanwhile, CPEC authority has already launched a ‘paid internship program’ for talented Pakistani youth. China has also helped Pakistan in paying back $1b Saudi loan in time.
