PM Shahbaz Sharif’s Cabinet Vowed In President House

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, Prime minister Shehbaz sharif’s 37-member cabinet took part in it, and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani conducted the oath to federal ministers and ministers of the state who will work under the supervision of Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the sacred Holy Quran at the president’s house where thirty-one federal ministers and three ministers of state vowed to serve the nation and its sovereignty.

In a tweet, the Prime minister said “Federal cabinet has been formed after thorough consultations with Mian Nawaz Sharif & coalition partners. It is my fervent hope that federal ministers, ministers of state & advisers will provide leadership & resolve the problems of the people. Work, work & only work is our motto.”

The member of PML-N, Ahsan Iqbal, has been appointed as a planner and developer of minster whereas PML-N’s Rana Sanaullah was given the responsibility of the interior ministry.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Aminul Haque has taken charge as the information technology and telecommunications minister, App reports. Haque had also held the same portfolio under the previous PTI government.
