In an Indian ceasefire along the restive Line of Control (LoC) in Dewa Sector, two Pakistani soldiers were martyred as reported by ISPR.

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor identified the martyred soldiers as Naib Subedar Kandero and Sepoy Ehsan.

ISPR also reported that in the past 36 hours, in response to Indian ceasefire violations, Pakistan Army troops damaged Indian posts in Haji Pir Sector and killed three Indian soldiers including a subedar. Adding on, ISPR claims that a few soldiers on the Indian side were also injured.

The Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the LoC on Monday and said that Pakistan will respond to any misadventure by the Indian army. The visit came about because of the exchange of fire across the restive border. This caused casualties on both the Indian and Pakistani side.
