Umer Farooq Cheema is just one of my young soldiers who lose their lives while protecting us. Not only is the Pakistan Army protecting our borders, but they are handling civil issues as well.
Furthermore, it is to be noted that the challenges faced by the Pakistan armed forces are no secret. Earlier, two other army soldiers also embraced martyrdom in exchange for fire with terrorists. It took place during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Spalga, Miranshah, and North Waziristan – tribal districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
These brave, tough, and resilient men leave everything behind to protect the sovereignty of the country – their families, lives, dreams. Above all, the only thing that matters to them is saving the people of Pakistan. Moreover, it goes without saying that the Pakistan Army deserves all our love and respect!
