Police Issue Traffic Ticket to CM’s Son’s Security Vehicle
Maryam Nawaz revealed that recently, a police officer issued a traffic challan (ticket) to her son’s security vehicle. She praised the police for their commitment to enforcing the law without favoritism.
CM’s Son Responds Respectfully to Police Officer
The CM recounted the moment her son was stopped by police while returning home with security vehicles. The officer apologized upon realizing who was inside, saying, “We didn’t know the Chief Minister’s son was in the vehicle.”
Junaid Safdar responded by supporting the officer’s action: “You were doing your duty by stopping us. Go ahead and issue the ticket.” Maryam Nawaz expressed pride in her son’s respectful attitude toward law enforcement.
CM Praises Police Officer and Reinforces Rule of Law
After learning about the incident, Maryam Nawaz personally spoke to DIG Operations Faisal Kamran and commended the police officer. She emphasized that no one is above the law, whether it’s the Chief Minister’s son or anyone else.
“Today, criminals are swearing oaths and repenting from crime,” said Maryam Nawaz, highlighting the importance of accountability.
