Pakistan Navy Seizes Drugs Worth Rs8.6 Billion in Arabian Sea

Pakistan Navy’s two ships with collaboration a PN air unit seized around 5,800 Kgs of drugs recently which worth Rs8.6 billion during an operation in the North Arabian Sea, a statement has been issued by PN.

Further stated that during conducting maritime security operations in the North Arabian Sea, naval ships located and effectively obstructed 2 suspicious ships.

Upon investigating a large quantity of drugs valuing Rs8.6 billion in the international market were seized.

PN informed that both suspicious ships had been handed over to law enforcement agencies for further legal proceedings according to the law of country.

“Pakistan Navy is vigilant to counter any illegal activity and safeguard its maritime borders, the press statement stated.”

“The PN continues to demonstrate our national resolve to deter, dissuade, discourage and thwart any illicit activities along the strategically important water ways in the Arabian Sea,” the statement added.
