Pakistani Rupee Crossed Rs. 240 Mark against US Dollar in Open Market

Recently, US dollar continues to grow in currency market.

Earlier today, the dollar increased by Rs 1.18 i.e Rs. 231 in interbank market. However, by the mid of day it grew by Rs. 2.18 i.e Rs 232 in interbank.

Whereas, in the open market, dollar’s selling price was increased by Rs 2 i.e Rs 240.

However, the dollar closed at Rs 229.82 by Rs. 1.64 yesterday, while in the open market dollar closed at Rs 238.

It was confirmed by the currency delayers that the demand of dollar for import need has been raised after flood. Further, according to IMF to keep the exchange rate free-floating has also made the situation difficult.
