Punjab to start Insaf Imdad programme for lockdown affected families from Monday

LAHORE – Everything is scheduled to start on Monday the “Punjab Insaf Imdad Program” for the people affected in Lockdown during Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to media reports, around Rp 402.8 million will be distributed to help families affected by the Lockdown imposed to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Under the initiative, financial assistance would be provided to 33567 affected in phase I of category three.

Financial assistance would be provided to 1,4096 affected people from Tehsil City and 10,361 from Tehsil Sadar, while 5,347 from Tehsil Shujabad and 3,763 from Tehsil Jalalpur.

Financial assistance worth Rs 12,000 each will be distributed through existing Ehsaas Kifalat centers.

So far, more than Rs 1.89 billion has been distributed under the Ehsaas emergency cash program, while those affected by the 157708 Lockdown have benefited from the Ehsaas program so far.
